What the Artist's Circle actually gives you

Monthly Art Drop
One exclusive high-resolution digital download every month — pieces never released publicly. Yours to print, frame, or collect. The kind of work that only members ever see.
Studio Sessions
Behind-the-scenes video from the actual studio. Not a polished tutorial — raw footage of a painting in progress, the decisions made mid-stroke, the work before it looks like anything.
15% Member Discount
15% off every print, download, commission, and bundle in the shop — for as long as you're a member. Apply to your next order or save it for a commission. No expiration.
Commission Priority
Members get first access to Fred's limited commission slots. Custom pet portraits, wildlife, memorial pieces — they fill fast. Being in the Circle means you get notified 72 hours before slots open publicly.
Direct Access
Monthly Q&A — submit questions, get real answers. Why that piece didn't work. What a painting feels like at 3 AM when the color finally lands. Ask what no one else gets to ask.
Patron Recognition
Your name listed as a founding patron on the FredBarcaArt.com Patron page (if you choose). You helped build this. That matters — and it gets acknowledged.
Fred Barca original painting — Screaming Color Lion
"Screaming Color Lion" — one of 781 originals. Members get the story behind every piece.
The Philosophy

Why $9.99 and nothing more

01
You're a patron, not a customer
A patron supports the work because they believe in it — not because they need something. This is the oldest model in art history, and the only one that makes an artist truly free.
02
Low price, high standards
$9.99 keeps it accessible. But the content isn't cheap — every monthly drop, every studio session, every Q&A is made with the same care as the 781 paintings you see in the gallery.
03
Limited to 200 members
When it hits 200, the door closes. This isn't a marketing tactic — it's about Fred actually being able to show up for every person in this circle. Intimacy is the point.
04
Zero AI. Always.
Everything inside the Artist's Circle — every piece of art, every video, every written word — is human-made. 35 years of that will never change.

What collectors say about Fred's work

★★★★★
"Buying a commission from Fred was the first time I felt genuinely moved by an art purchase. He understood what I was asking for in a way I couldn't quite articulate myself. The level of care is unlike anything I've experienced."
C
Celia M.
Wildlife collector, Austin TX
★★★★★
"I've purchased digital art for years. What Fred does is completely different — you can feel that a human being was there, making decisions in every single stroke. In an AI era, that's rare. That's actually worth paying for."
R
Rafael O.
Art collector, Miami FL
★★★★★
"I bought the Sassy Cat series for my daughter. She cried. Fred had painted her cat — or at least, a version so accurate to his personality I had to check twice. The man sees something real in his subjects."
J
Janet K.
Cat portrait collector, Denver CO
Common Questions

Everything you need to know

What exactly do I get every month? +
Every month: one exclusive high-resolution digital art download (not available in the public shop), at least one behind-the-scenes studio video, access to the member Q&A, and use of your 15% discount code on any shop purchase. The art drops and videos are added to a private Gumroad library — access them anytime.
Is this Gumroad? How does it work? +
Yes — the membership is managed through Gumroad (barcaproducer.gumroad.com). You pay $9.99/month through Gumroad's secure checkout, then get instant access to the private library. Cancel anytime from your Gumroad dashboard — no emails to write, no hoops.
Can I use the 15% discount on commissions? +
Yes. The member discount applies to all shop purchases including digital downloads, prints, and custom commission pricing. Email info@fredbarcaart.com with your membership confirmation to apply it to commissions (commission slots are processed differently from the shop).
What happens if the 200-member limit is hit? +
Signups close. A waitlist opens. Members who cancel free up a slot, and waitlist members are notified in order. The limit is firm — the intimacy of the circle is the point, and that only works at a certain size.
What does "patron recognition" actually mean? +
Founding patrons are listed by first name and city on a dedicated page at FredBarcaArt.com — the people who supported the work when it was getting started. Completely opt-in when you join. No personal data, just your name if you choose.
Will the price ever go up? +
Founding members are locked at $9.99/month for the life of their membership. If pricing changes for new members in the future, existing members keep the founding rate. You're in early — that means something.
