Fred Barca – Artist & Creative Director

Fred Barca has been a professional artist since 1985, with exhibitions in galleries across New York and New Jersey. He received formal training at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and further honed his skills in creative arts, advertising design, and marketing at institutions in South Florida.

Early in his career, Fred worked in the garment industry, designing for leading companies such as Disney, Warner Brothers, Champion Sportswear, and other major brands. Alongside his commercial design work, he sold fine art across North America, mastering multiple mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolors, charcoal, pastels, graphite, and colored pencil. His creative journey also extended into sculpture, working with clay, plaster, and wood.

With the rise of digital art, Fred embraced new technology and has since created more than 500 digital paintings, many of which are available for purchase online and through social media platforms.

Fred is also an accomplished author and illustrator, having written and illustrated a children’s book in the early 2000s. He continues to accept commissions for custom projects, including children’s book illustrations, book covers, and original artwork tailored to collectors’ needs.

For nearly 20 years, Fred played a pivotal role in shaping digital user experiences, leading the creative vision for organizations’ online presence. As Director of Creative Services at one of the world’s largest consulting firms, he specialized in UI/UX/CX design, marketing innovation, and digital storytelling. His expertise in typography, storyboarding, and online advertising allowed him to translate complex requirements into intuitive, engaging design strategies.

At the heart of Fred’s success has been his ability to blend art with technology. By setting high creative standards, fostering collaborative partnerships, and driving strategic brand development, he consistently delivered compelling digital experiences. His leadership and adaptability under tight deadlines helped global teams thrive in dynamic markets while maintaining a strong creative edge.

Today, Fred has shifted his focus back to his roots in fine art, balancing decades of digital expertise with his passion for traditional and modern artistic expression. Without the use on Artificial Intelligence AI. Fred’s art is 100% artist made.

On the Fun Side…

After all not everything is about work & art…or maybe it is!

Fred also enjoys meeting with other fellow artist, some more famous than others. Recently he met up with no other than the one and only David Choe.
